my morning consists of
sleeping in, drinking so much coffee, bts and sunshine. 11 Days till the USA road trip. I get to see napalm death, autopsy, benediction, noothgrush, bolt thrower and 2 unfun shows in the states PLUS so much more. Life is fucking dandy kids.
SO I am the worst at sleeping in. Everytime I get a day off when my boyfriend works I am up at 8 am drinking coffee and doing stuff. Going to actually go shopping for myself today and get hair stuff and a tent for the trip! 13 FUCKING DAYS. Listen to the babies and smoke fucking weed friends.
Vivian Girls Headline Girl Power Showcase at Music Hall of Williamsburg
So I didn’t know very much about Vivian Girls before I went to their show in Brooklyn, but from the two videos I’d seen on YouTube, they looked promising. I was pleasantly surprised when they kicked MAJOR ass with their energetic tunes, making the other bands look really bad… (awkward for the Heliotropes singer who only screamed/howled/moaned for a few songs, sorry).

As they performed their melodic punk tunes, the Girls weren’t afraid to get into full-on rock mode, with head-banging, hair swinging action and getting completely drenched in sweat. Guitarist Cassie Ramone and bassist “Kickball Katy” Goodman, who share vocal duties, got down on their knees to shred, leaning against each other and still managing to sing incredibly when they got back up to their mics, while drummer Fiona Campbell slammed her drums like a champ.
